Paid Marketer

  • On-site
    • Kantoor (Alkmaar, Noord-Holland, Netherlands)
  • €3,400 - €4,779 per month

Job description

Every euro at work.

Our ads run in 8 countries, for more than 1,800 shoe models. As a Paid Marketer, you determine how we allocate that budget, focusing not just on clicks but on campaigns that contribute to margin and profit.

Google Ads is at the core of your work, with Performance Max and Shopping at the forefront. You also own our Meta campaigns. You have a lot of freedom, but with that comes responsibility: you stand by your choices and are accountable to the management team, even if the numbers are not as expected.

Your responsibilities

  • Elevating Google Ads. You manage and optimize our campaigns in 8 European countries, focusing on Performance Max and Google Shopping.

  • Driving margin and profit. You look beyond revenue and ROAS. Based on margin, returns, and stock, you decide which products to give extra visibility.

  • Product feed. You keep our product feed sharp in Channable and constantly seek improvements.

  • Utilizing Meta for growth. You own our Meta campaigns and find the best mix of audience, message, and creative, in collaboration with our creative specialist.

  • Continuous testing and improvement. You analyze campaigns, identify opportunities, test new approaches, measure their impact, and adjust based on the results.

  • Translating data into action. You turn numbers into clear conclusions and concrete proposals for the team and management.

  • Discussing performance. You engage with colleagues and your supervisor on performance and e-commerce, both within and outside the Google Ads account.

  • Working smarter with AI. You work daily with AI to analyze faster and better, supported by the PPC Hub and PPC OS.

  • Staying ahead. You keep track of changes in Google Ads, Meta, and AI, deciding which new opportunities to explore first.

  • Collaboration. You communicate in Dutch and English with colleagues, agencies, and platform partners locally and internationally.

What do we require?

Experience

  • You have at least 3 years of experience independently managing Google Ads campaigns in e-commerce, preferably with Performance Max and Shopping.

  • You are familiar with Meta Ads from practical experience: you have set up or managed campaigns yourself.

  • You can demonstrate the results of your campaigns, for example, with outcomes from previous roles.

Skills and attitude

  • You have HBO-level education and think in terms of margin and profit, not just revenue.

  • You are self-motivated. You work independently and take ownership of your projects from start to finish.

  • You are willing to take responsibility and hold onto it when things get tough.

  • You are curious and always want to understand why a campaign performs the way it does.

  • You use AI as a regular part of your work.

  • You communicate fluently in Dutch and English, both verbally and in writing.

  • You understand the e-commerce landscape.

  • A plus: experience with Channable, knowledge of measurability, SEO or CRO, and a passion for running.

What do we offer?

  • Challenge. Ownership of a large advertising budget in 8 countries, within a growing, sporty organization.

  • Salary. € 3400.68 to € 4,779.67 gross per month, based on 38 hours per week.

  • Knowledge and AI. Access to the PPC Hub, the community where Google Ads knowledge and innovation converge, and to PPC OS, which helps us analyze and improve our campaigns with AI.

  • Growth. Training opportunities to further develop your skills in Google Ads.

  • Sport. Your own spot in our company gym, discounts on our products, and entry tickets for running events.

  • Work atmosphere. Colleagues who are as passionate about sports as you are.

  • Benefits. A pension scheme, travel allowance from 12.5 km one way, and a remote work allowance of € 2.40 per day.
